Abstract

In this paper we try to find out how the capital accumulation is embedded in the social and political organization of the emerging post-socialist markets. The accumulation is not only dependent on the entrepreneurial skills, but also on the market organization. In this study we want to grasp the way in which the real estate market of Cluj-Napoca is organized, and we intend to find out how profitability is linked to the institutional arrangements.
