External and internal changes that affect non-governmental organizations and the difficulty to manage such situations are the main themes tackled by the author Lucian Sfetcu in his paper Introduction to the study of organizational change. The author studies, from this perspective, the Catalctica NGO, and proposes a method of analysing organisational changes applied to the NGO work model. The paradigm proposed by Lucian Sfetcu represents a guide for the non-governmental organizations from our country that face strong changes as a result of internal or external forces. The paper is welcome in a field so little studied in our country, specially in the actual political and economic context. In regards to future research directions, like the author of the book has stated, this paper represents only the foundation, comparative studied between NGOs from different fields, and from different regions from our country being necessary.
