Abstract

Since the 30s psychosocial researches have focused on the way children set up ethnic and gender identities. Also children’s attitudes to other people and the way they use ethnic information were major concerns for social scientists. In fact researches showed that ethnic and gender identification is an important problem for preschool children. In our study we try to polilt out some of the most representative researches of this field and, also to discover some ethnic and gender stereotypes of Romanian people.
