Abstract

The history of exit poll is a very old one. There have been about thirty years since the first exit polls were developed in the USA. The exit poll methodology has not been clarified yet and exit polls practice creates peculiar issues in ex-communist countries related to the emergence of democratic culture and to the lack of theoretical discussions on the legitimacy of this kind of survey.
We think that the present study will contribute to understanding the exit poll specificity and it will improve the accuracy of exit poll outcomes.
